The Huffington post ran an amazing story today about a man and wife that had been married for 72 years. They spent more of their life together than they did apart (she was 90 and he was 94). They passed away after a car accident sent them to the hospital. The kind staff put them in the same ICU room where they were able to hold hands until they passed through this life...he first and she an hour later, her heart beating through him for her last hour on earth (the monitor even registered it).
