Mental Motivation

Harriet Anderson won the Iron Man World championship this past October, in her age group. With a broken arm. After an accident that occurred at the 80 mile marker in the bike portion of the race.

Aside from a 112 mile bike ride, an Ironman Triathlon race consists of a 2.4 mile swim, and a 26.2 mile run.

Harriet has raced the Ford Ironman 18 times. When she won the Ironman Race this past October, she was 74. And she is not done yet! Harriet trains for future races with spinning, swimming, running, yoga and Pilates, and still has time to live a life of volunteerism and to focus on her three grandchildren.

By the way, Harriet didn’t even start exercising until after her kids left home.

Now can you find the motivation to exercise today? :)
